Catherine Stewart, (link to the ULSC website – go to directory) the self proclaimed “The Terminator” on her older website this year is a private practice P1 paralegal and owner of Landlord Legal Services, Meaford, Ontario who is representing Dykstra Bros Electric of Barrie, Ontario ( Ralph Dykstra, Bill Dykstra and Don Dykstra) made a BAD mediated deal in a Landlord and Tenant Board hearing that took place at 34 Simcoe Street 3rd Floor, Barrie, Ontario on July 18th/2013 just to get the tenant out of the unit.
Landlord Legal inc represents Dykstra Bros Electric as PROPERTY MANAGEMENT company and as a corporate business LEGAL PARALEGAL firm and Dykstra Bros Electric representative in LTB matters,Civil Court proceedings launched by Landlord Legal inc owner C A Stewart and the Human Rights allegations against her clients and her legal firm.

The Landlord and Tenant complaints, from both parties, ended up in a joint submission put forward by the Tenant, to Catherine Stewart representing Dykstra Bros Electric. The offer was mediated by the attending Community Legal Clinic paralegal and the Landlord and Tenant court mediator. It took 3 attempts and 2 hours at mediating to arrive at this agreement. Catherine Stewart shortened the time frame for the tenant to voluntarily move out each time she went into the mediation room. It ended up being mediated from the end of September 2013 to move out being being July 18th 2013 with the agreement of last months rent to be returned on July 18th 2013 with the turn over of the unit. ** This Landlord & Tenant Board Tribunal case started out as a privacy volation complaint launched by the tenant when this started on March 26th, 2013 with Ralph Dykstra, Bill Dykstra, Don Dykstra discussing private personal information with and their very long time family friend and tenant Nancy Groves. There have been numerous complaints filed with the Upper Law Society & the Privacy Commissioner of Canada over Catherine Stewart and her clients, Dykstras Bros Electric actions. ** Paralegals that represent landlords do NOT have to follow the same Rules of Paralegal Conduct as “NORMAL” paralegals.
** This was made clear in an email received from Catherine Stewart refusing documents requested.
** Requesting information that we were entitled to legally have with written requests went unanswered continuously from Landlord Legal and the issues had to be handled by the investigating officer of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to obtain the information we requested numerous times in writing. Again PIPEDA laws were ignored.
