This is a follow up post concerning the complaints that were filed with the Upper Law Society of Canada, against Diane Lynn Smith, of Smith Paralegal Services,Barrie, Ontario.
The complaints were filed on June 8th 2013, from a Barrie tenant alleging Diane Smith had harassed him by sending a letter representing herself as a legal “lawyer” and representative for Nancy Groves,when she was not legal to do so.
Diane Smith did not respond to any correspondence from the Upper Law Society of Canada nor did she appear at the administrative hearing set for her December 13th, 2013.

Diane Lynn Smith is also being further investigated by the ULSC, as she was also hired by another paralegal, April Catherine Stewart of Landlord Legal Services,Meaford,Ontario to represent Nancy Groves (involved tenant) on behalf of Dykstra Bros Electric. A civil case is currently being considered against Smith and will be filed soon and all pending court cases against Diane Smith will be posted here with the follow up posts.
A court date has yet to be set for the Ontario Human Rights case filed against Ralph Dykstra, Bill Dykstra and Don Dykstra of Dykstra Bros Electric, Barrie,Ontario.
We will continue to follow all the court cases involved with Dykstra/Groves/Smith/Stewart that started as guilty of PRIVACY VIOLATIONS in Landlord and Tenant Board tribunal court, May 7th 2013 in Barrie, Ontario.
These privacy violations and actions from the Dykstras, March 26th 2013 along with the LTB court verdict from May 7th 2013, escalated into further alleged complaints concerning an illegal lock change at 40 Ellen Street, Barrie,Ontario, orchestrated by April Catherine Stewart of Landlord Legal,Ralph Dykstra,Bill Dykstra and Don Dykstra of Dykstra Bros Electric to a purposely BAD MEDIATED LTB AGREEMENT to get the tenant out, an Ontario Human Rights pending court case and three (3) civil cases pending that will all be followed and presented here on the Privacy Violators.com website.

We have learned from past experiences, that certain paralegals do deal in BAD FAITH DEALS purposely, just to get tenants out, to please their client, the landlord.. that is the private paralegals objective… anyway at all – legally or illegally.. they feel they are protected because they are paralegals.
Miss Groves,an involved tenant, was also represented by the same Meaford paralegal, April Catherine Stewart of Landlord Legal, in the court ordered appearance for Miss Groves to produce documents to the court to prove her rent was paid directly to the landlords from other sources.Dykstra Bros Electric received Nancy Groves rent payments,in part, from the Mental Health Association and also in part from Ontario Disability and paid directly to the Barrie landlords.
April Catherine Stewart did not have the documents that were requested of Nancy Groves by the courts on the ordered date to appear, though sufficient time was given, Landlord Legal instead decided to waste the time of the Barrie courts, Simcoe Legal Services and the Barrie tenant filing the case against Dykstra Bros for the FALSELY MEDIATED agreement and the money they owe.
April Stewart had also wasted the Barrie Landlord & Tenant tribunal courts time as well as the time of 3 witnesses that were summoned against her clients the Dykstras for the alleged illegal lock change at 40 Ellen Street. April Stewart is currently being investigated by the Upper Law Society of Canada for her participation in this alleged matter.
Stewart had also neglected to properly inform the involved Barrie tenant, although she had phone number, email address and Simcoe Legal Service contacts to contact easily, or the LTB courts that she was allegedly out of the country and was unable to attend. The tenant withdrew the matter to deal with it in the Ontario Human Rights court in Toronto.
** The papers supporting Groves claim were finally mailed to the Simcoe Legal Services paralegal helping with the civil case against the Dykstras and forwarded the appropriate documents to the tenant.
One of the Dykstra brothers, Bill Dykstra will be summoned to Superior Court to answer for their financial status and the reasons the LTB order and Civil court orders were not followed.

This is a follow up post to the Upper law Society of Canada complaint that was filed earlier this year against Smith Paralegal Services of Barrie, Ontario.
Diane Lynn Smith is a paralegal from Barrie Ontario who is now being investigated by the Upper Law Society of Canada concerning complaints and allegations brought forward from a Barrie tenant.
It is alleged that Diane Smith had practised law and represented, defended numerous clients this year but was under a suspension from the Upper Law Society of Canada at the time. If you had hired Smith Paralegal Services to represent you for any reason this year, the Upper Law Society would like to hear from you on all the matters Smith Paralegal Services had dealt with for you.
It is further alleged that Diane Smith harassed a tenant that was involved with an ongoing Landlord & Tenant Tribunal matter as well as pending Ontario Human Rights complaints & allegations involving Ralph Dykstra, Bill Dykstra, Don Dykstra, owners of Dykstra Bros Electric of Barrie, Ontario.
Smith has ignored information requests and has yet to contact the Upper law Society regarding the ULSC investigation against her. The matter is set to go to before an administrative hearing on Friday, December 13th, 2013. When the administration hearing rules on the matter on Friday, we will post the results here on Privacy Violators website and also will be published on the Upper Law Society website for the public to review the determination of the hearing. We will of course do a follow up to the findings and provide you with the link to review the results.
Further complaints and allegations stemming from an illegal lock change, harassment and PIPEDA violations were filed with the Upper Law Society of Upper Canada for investigation regarding another paralegal, April Catherine Stewart of Landlord Legal from Meaford,Ontario who was at the time representing Dykstra Bros Electric.
Catherine Stewart is also being followed in our Court Cases in the News category concerning the Civil court complaint she has filed against Privacy Violators and the tenant she was harassing to get an eviction from the 40 Ellen Street property owned by Ralph Dyksta, Bill Dykstra and Don Dykstra of Dykstra Bros Electric of Barrie. Corrupt Barrie Police fail to investigate ex OPP officer Paul Smith for impersonating as Private Investigator and violating tenant Constitutional Rights to privacy !
When the public and especially tenants in general have issues with violations to their privacy, break and enters and the methods used by their landlords and illegal practices from paralegals such as Catherine Stewart of Walter’s Falls & Barrie Ontario, where do they go for protection ?
Normally ANY citizen of Canada or a tenant would call the police for help, file a complaint at the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) or possibly file their allegations with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) or exercise all three possibilities according to their rights.
Many complaints of paralegal Catherine Stewart’s illegal practices, of break and enter, illegal searches, constant harassment of a HRTO applicant, entering false testimony, entering false evidence have all gone to the Barrie police to investigate from a tenant who had filed many complaints and allegations against Catherine Stewart and alleged retired and decorated ex OPP officer and boyfriend Paul Smith.
The corrupt Barrie police force has failed to act on many allegations filed against the ex cop and his girlfriend paralegal without a single officer investigating any of the complaints. There is no protection for the HRTO applicant or ANY investigation done by the corrupt Barrie police force when dealing with one of their own and this alleged ex OPP officer.
Complaints to the OPP Commissioner have gone un answered as to the alleged possible corruption when Paul Smith was supposedly an Ontario Provincial Police officer.
If Paul Smith willingly and knowing constantly violates the Landlord and Tenant Act, privacy rights and our Constitutional Rights as Canadians for his paralegal girlfriend, what illegal actions did he do when he was with the Ontario Provincial Police?

Police chief Kimberly Greenwood, of the Barrie city police, Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner Vince Hawkes, Human Rights Commissioner Renu Mandhane along with the Canadian Law Society have all failed to protect many rights given to Canadian citizens and continue to ignore and put under the rug, any legitimate complaints brought forth by Canadian citizens against this alleged ex Ontario provincial police officer !!
A quote is stated below from Detective Steeles when he threatened to put out a warrant on a Human Rights applicant over allegations the ex tenant was appearing at the open forum at the Barrie LTB board where Catherine Stewart was defending a landlord illegally according to the LTB Act 2006 ! Stewart complained to the Barrie police the ex tenant was attending the LTB hearings in Barrie which is his right to do so ANYTIME he wants to as it is a PUBLIC and OPEN hearing.The Barrie police had NO REASON to harass the ex tenant and Human Rights applicant for attending LTB hearings. Detective Steele also ignored the false evidence claims and the false testimony claims when the applicant tried to have Catherine Stewart and her ex cop boyfriend charged with the offenses.The FOI with Turner, Beards and Steeles police reports will be posted for the public to view.
Detective Steele did not do ANY INVESTIGATION into the allegations made concerning the harassment, false evidence and false statement claims brought up against Smith & Stewart but did threaten to have a warrant issued for the applicant for attending LTB hearing. WOW Barrie police justice is far between and completely corrupt !!

The Freedom of Information act allowed the harassed citizen to retrieve copies of police reports filed by Beard, Turner and Steeles along with other Barrie police officers who allegedly harassed the human Rights applicant and his friends when trying to find false allegations to press charges against the applicant to further help the ex OPP officer and ignore the legitimate complaints filed with them concerning severe harassment and breaches of court conduct when in legal and court issues involving Catherine Stewart and Paul Smith personally.
We will be posting every Freedom Of Information report that has been obtained from every police force involved and every pertinent file from the Human Rights Tribunal to expose the truth about Catherine Stewart, Paul Smith, our legal system and the police protection that we are suppose to have as citizens in Canada.
Entering FALSE EVIDENCE and SUBMITTING FALSE TESTIMONY is a CRIMINAL offense as is BREAK & ENTER and HARASSMENT in Canada unless the Barrie police and the OPP protect the guilty parties involved and cover up the allegations concerning these people.The Barrie police DO NOT PROTECT THE PUBLIC but only cover up and ignore complaints that are filed with them and then contact the alleged parties to inform them of the complaints that were attempted to be filed so they can fix their problems.
Catherine Stewart and ex OPP officer Paul Smith committed illegal acts when they pretend to be a Private Investigator, enter false evidence and false testimony to protect their own asses of the Human Rights allegations that were filed against them for violating a tenants god given rights that are suppose to be protected by the Human Rights Commission.
Paul Smith is known to make false statements and Catherine Stewart his paralegal girlfriend puts her commissioner stamp on it to make the lies official and the way she needs it to evict defenseless tenants all the while NOT LEGAL to represent landlords in Landlord and Tenant board hearings as she does not fit the definition of a “landlord”. Stewart is known to use the phrase “Landlord Representative” in LTB and sign the illegal name APRIL STEWART instead of her given name and legal name stated with the LSUC which is CATHERINE STEWART !! BEWARE OF THE FRAUD TACTICS IN LTB. Stewart is also known NOT TO GIVE DISCLOSURE for LTB hearings, do not allow this injustice to continue with this scum who is a self proclaimed “terminator” . Tenants have rights that are constantly violated by this property manager who is a paralegal illegally acting on behalf of LANDLORDS ONLY in LTB matters. Bring this non disclosure and fraud tactics up to the LTB judge hearing your case and file your complaint with the LSUC and then contact us to follow your story publicly.
New complaints have been filed with the Law Society concerning Catherine Stewart tampering with Civil court documents and entering false evidence and false testimony into the Human Rights allegations she was accused of. Past complaints filed against Stewart were ignored when David Cass, intake worker for the LSUC dismissed complaints when Stewart lied about ongoing court cases when there was none presently before the courts at that time. Stewart had submitted no evidence to David Cass when he dismissed the complaints blindly.
We have received several emails about complaints to the LSUC filed against paralegals and lawyers mentioned in several of our public interest stories, and David Cass has been at the center of a couple of the complaints and dismissed them as well without proof or justifications for his actions. The complaints that we know for sure that have been filed have not showed on the paralegals public record at all after David Cass puts them under the rug and fails to protect the public.
The LSUC is more concerned that paralegals pay their yearly fees to them than they are in protecting the public from paralegals who openly and knowingly break the law and the Rules of Conduct set out by the LSUC. We will be writing further about the complaints filed and the LSUC Rules and Regulations that are suppose to be in place so the public can see the real truth about our legal system. The truth will scare you more than you think if you think we live in a FREE Canada.
David Cass is protecting Lawyers and Paralegals from complaints that are legitimately filed against paralegals and Lawyers without justifying his reasons or the persons providing proof of their claims they make to protect themselves. The Law Society itself is a self run body that only protects lawyers and paralegals from the complaints that are shoved aside without proof or justification and never heard.
Privacy Violators has evidence of at least 4 other complaints filed with the LSUC against Stewart but there is no records of ANY complaints being filed including Break & Enter complaints filed in 2013 from a Barrie tenant. The Law Society intake process is as crooked as the cops when they do not protect the public from the Hard Practices of paralegals who knowingly break the laws for their clients. This leaves only one option for tenants when coming across these low life paralegals and that is to defend yourself to the max because the system is rigged against you.
We will be publishing options you can choose to use when dealing with Catherine Stewart who knowingly breaks the law in front of the Barrie police and got away with it until the new complaints are heard and the results published here on Privacy Violators website for the public to learn of the corrupt system. We actually live in a communist Canada when a one year graduate becomes a paralegal and can knowingly break laws and get away with it.

The Barrie police are as corrupt as they come and do not have any interest in investigating an ex Ontario Police officer which has never been confirmed. Paralegal Catherine Stewart operates this property management company, Landlord Legal, out of a small cubicle style office located in Barrie, Ontario from 117 Bayfield Street. Stewart has been known to move her property management office frequently as she does NOT ALLOW TENANTS to enter her property management office under any circumstance.
Normal and legitimate property management companies would have the obligation to address tenant issues and other matters that would come up from the tenants of the landlords they represent.Stewart does not allow tenant contact, even for emergencies, she has always acted as a fraudulent property manager and abusing her paralegal status to harass tenants rights and privacy with intentions to evict them.Stewart lies on her website when she claims she sold her property management company which she operates from Barrie Ontario.
Privacy Violators has filed information with the Canada Revenue Services claiming Catherine Stewart has not paid taxes for her illegal property management company since 2006, which she rolled into one company, her paralegal services. Tax fraud is also another allegation brought up to the Canada Revenue Services concerning Landlord Legal !!

Does any of the few points already mentioned sound like Catherine Stewart operates a legitimate property management firm. How and why does the Law Society allow a one year technical school graduate for paralegal, to get away with breaking protected any Canadian citizen’s Constitutional Rights for privacy and the many rules of the Landlord and Tenant Act Stewart violates since 2006.
Licensed paralegal Catherine Stewart is a disgrace to the Law Society and operates this illegal property management company from Barrie Ontario, although it it is a clear VIOLATION of the UPPER LAW SOCIETY OF CANADA (ULSC) Rules and Regulations conflict of interest laws she knowingly ignores.
Licensed paralegal Catherine Stewart has been operating this illegal property management business and representing LANDLORDS ONLY in Landlord and Tenant Board hearings although this is another breach of the ULSC rules and has the single intention of evicting the tenant fore her landlord only clients. Stewart uses her property management website to solicit the work for the landlords and uses her authority as a paralegal to bully, harass and violate tenant rights given to them for protection.
You must read the new series we compiled with things you can do when confronted by such illegal methods and you feel you can do nothing to stop the scum present in our court systems today. We have named the NEW SERIES after this paralegal, THE STEWART SOLUTION, who to this day is still completely photographing tenant units against the LTB Act, harassing helpless tenants and using powers given to her from the Law Society to evict the helpless tenants.
We want to give tenants more ideas and options when dealing with illegal methods used by their tenants, paralegals or the corrupt police forces out there. The phony pathetic property management company Catherine Stewart runs is from a small cubicle office surrounded by numerous accountants in a firm there, and the building is owned by Wendy Kara of Sophia development Corporation.
These accountants have been known to receive confidential and private legal documents that were intended for her legal firms eyes only but has on numerous occasions received unprotected legal documents on her behalf when she operates her legal firm from her Walters Falls residence.
Stewart had closed her failing Meaford legal office last year after she neglected to inform the Civil courts and the Human Rights of the closure of her office that was on record to receive the legal files from Human Rights allegations brought up against Stewart, her husband Paul Smith and her landlord clients Dykstra Bros Electric.
YOU CAN’T TRUST A DYKSTRA !!
This phoney self proclaimed advacator for landlord only rights has had many complaints filed with the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) for her sharp practice methods of advocating including practising law under several names.
The Law Society has so far protected the illegal actions of Stewart and has neglected to register ANY of the many complaints that have been filed with their office over many breaches of their own rules and rules of conduct with the courts Stewart has been accused and involved with directly.
Catherine April Stewart is the legal name registered at the LSUC for Stewart to practice law under, and the name of the business registered at the LSUC for her shady legal firm is Landlord legal inc.
Catherine Stewart has been practising law at the LTB Board in Barrie, Meaford and numerous other cities across Ontario and using the name April Stewart under landlord legal, when she represents her landlord only clients.
Stewart has been known to make many deals under this name and is now very well known not to honour any agreements she makes with tenants only to have them take the matter into civil courts wasting their money and valuable court time for her purposes.
Stewart has also been known to harass Human Rights applicants when she complained to the Barrie police the tenant was showing up at the LTB hearings which is an open forum to anybody that wishes to go. The police or this lowlife paralegal do not have the right to harass the tenants that wish to go to ANY LTB hearing for ANY REASON !
The corrupt Barrie police have harassed many tenants fore this ex OPP officer and his paralegal girlfriend but would not charge her for Break & enter, entering false statements, entering false documents or for harassing a human Rights applicant several times. Stewart has also been known to break into tenants units while being present at the crime with the Barrie police witnessing the act and telling her she did not have the legal right to enter the unit to begin with.
Another disgraced paralegal Diane Smith, has also been known for practising law under different names and businesses and is also well known to have worked for Catherine Stewart on numerous past hearings.
Between the conflict of interests businesses Stewart owns and runs with her husband, ex OPP officer Paul Smith there has been numerous complaints to the LSUC over her legal practice and her submitting false testimony, statements and evidence from Paul Smith. Stewart has been known to use her Commissioner stamp to sign and authorize documents she submits from her husband when they pertain to her landlord only clients and Ontario LTB hearings.
Under the LTB Act 2006 Stewart does NOT FIT the definition of a landlord and should not be practicing law representing her slum lord clients.Paul Smith has also been known to work illegally as a Private Investigator for this paralegal when he was not licensed to do so in Ontario. Many statements Paul Smith gave to the Privacy Commissioner, Civil Courts, LTB hearings and the Human Rights allegations has statements coming from him as a private investigator working for Stewart.
Stewart has been known to break many rules of the Law Society and Rules and regulations for paralegals and many Rules of Conduct courts and has gone as far as entering false evidence into the Human Rights allegations brought up against Catherine April Stewart, her husband Paul Smith, William Dykstra, Ralph Dykstra and Donald Dykstra of Dykstra Bros Electric of Barrie Ontario.
Stewart is also known for not paying court orders that have been given to her to pay when she failed to show or notify the courts on several occasions.
Stewart had another paralegal lied at the LTB hearing she was accused of breaking & entering into a tenants unit while witnesses and the Barrie police watched. Paul Smith admitted to cowering behind a car when the tenant tried serving him legal documents to appear in LTB court for photographing his unit against the LTB Act 2006.Another crooked ex OPP cop that abuses the system for his paralegal girlfriend.
New complaints have been filed again against Catherine Stewart with the Law Society of Upper Canada who has been known to protect lawyers and paralegals when they break the law or even the rules set out by the society to govern the conduct of these one year graduates who receive a law degree from shady colleges in Ontario.

Privacy Violators has received many emails and evidence that many other complaints have previously been filed against Catherine Stewart with the LSUC but there are no records of any of the complaints filed against her.
The writer had filed Break and Enter complaints against Stewart that were dismissed when David Cass, LSUC intake officer dismissed without reason or evidence in September 2013. David Cass is accused of protecting paralegals even though they violate the rules set out governing the conduct of paralegals and lawyers by the LSUC.
Catherine Stewart is another disgrace to the LSUC when she practices law under numerous names and knowingly and willingly signs and submits false statements and false evidence, in her own Human Rights allegations filed in 2014. Entering false evidence is a criminal offence as is break and enter. No paralegal is allowed to be present during an illegal act for any reason let alone be a party to it.

Complaints to the fraud department of the Canada Revenue Agency have been launched against alleged ex OPP officer Paul Smith and Catherine Stewart.
Ex OPP officer worked as private investigator for many years, unsanctioned and illegally for Walters Falls paralegal !
An ex Ontario Provincial Police officer, Paul Smith, has been investigated during Human Rights allegations (HRTO #17699-14) that were brought up against Smith, and his paralegal girlfriend, Catherine A Stewart, and has been discovered to be working as a private investigator illegally for landlord legal inc, of Barrie Ontario for many years.
Although Paul Smith did indeed have a private investigators license for over 7 years, Smith was not sanctioned by any private investigator company to work legally as a private investigator, but continued to give signed statements mentioning his PI reports and PI status, as well as being a retired Ontario Provincial Police officer, in sworn statements given to, and signed by his paralegal girlfriend who has a commissioner stamp to do so. One lies and the other swears to it.. very convenient for paralegal, property manager Catherine Stewart when she signs the legal documents to defend her LANDLORD ONLY clients.
Smith would give false evidence, false testimony, and stated whatever, property manager and paralegal girlfriend, Catherine Stewart needed to be sworn and she would protect him from liable suits, Human Rights allegations and criminal actions brought up against him, stating “absolute privilege” while she acts as his paralegal protecting these lies they swear to. Barrie Police officer Det Steeles, refused to investigate the false evidence allegations brought up to him concerning Smith.
Paul Smith was further accused with Catherine Stewart of entering false evidence, which Smith had signed and gave to Stewart for evidence into HRTO #17699-14, which both parties were named in Human Rights application.
Ex OPP officer Smith, was also involved in breaking many more Rules and Procedures for Stewart, in the Human Rights (HRTO#17699-14) allegations brought against Smith and Catherine Stewart when he contacted and delivered legal documents to the Human Rights applicant at an address NOT ON FILE when the applicant had legal council representing him.
The illegal personal contact by ex OPP officer Paul Smith, is against any Court Hearing Rules, as well as the Human Rights rules when legally represented, alarmed the HR applicant and made him afraid of what the pair would do when, consistently and knowingly they both were brazenly breaking laws and rules for their HR allegations against them. Paul Smith has admitted working as a PI and process server for his paralegal girlfriend for over ten years and should know the laws and rules and regulations governing process serving.
The pair have gotten away with tactics like this for a long time and Barrie police office Steele received complaints from the Human Rights applicant, of these tactics and actions but did not investigate nor act on the complaints. It seems like the Barrie police service also works for Catherine Stewart as well, when they do not investigate legitimate complaints filed against the paralegal for break and enter, entering false evidence and harassment allegations or the ex Ontario Provincial Police officer involved !! We can only assume the Barrie Police and the OPP protect their own when they do not investigate these complaints !!
Human Rights Registrar, Richard Hennessy of the Human Rights Tribunal was well aware of the allegations and many more motions brought up by the applicant in HRTO#16799-14, but the mediator, Mary Truemner did not hear any of the motions brought forward, instead this unfair mediator swept it under the rug and refused to hear them !

After a long investigation, and many emails received, the stuff that paralegal Catherine Stewart has done in the past, and has gotten away with it, even when the Law Society is aware of the allegations is staggering and the public needs to be aware of the tactics used by a few of these known paralegals, who go to a college training school for one year and bought their licenses and have nothing to lose.
Paul Smith and Catherine Stewart were accused of violating a tenants privacy when Paul Smith, on Stewart’s orders, entered the tenants unit owned by Dykstra Bros Electric of Barrie, Ontario and proceeded to take photos of every inch of the unit in preparations to evict him. The Landlord and Tenant Board rules do not allow one party to have an advantage over another when preparing for an eviction or an LTB hearing, which makes the photos ineligible to be entered into evidence as LTB Judge Sean Henry states in the May 7th, 2013 transcripts to be published in a future post.
Paralegal and property manager, Catherine Stewart has been accused in the past of breaking into a tenant’s home while Barrie police officers, CST Turner and CST Melanie Beard stood by and watched. The Barrie police officers would not charge Catherine Stewart, Ralph Dykstra, William Dykstra or Donald Dykstra with break and enter although they witnessed it first hand, stating it was a landlord and tenant board matter. Catherine Stewart has been known to give confidential court information to the Barrie police, in the form of a private cell number that was given for court purposes only.
The tenant involved did file a LTB complaint (LTB #33911-13), stating paralegal Catherine Stewart and her landlord clients ordered Barrie’s Central Lock and Key owner, Paul Robertson to cut a security chain, pick the lock and enter 40 Ellen Street, Barrie Ontario while the Barrie police watched. Barrie Police Constable Melanie Beard was summoned and present for the LTB hearing, as were the locksmiths involved, for the break and enter allegations, but Catherine Stewart neglected to show for the allegations against her, stating she “was out of the country” when witnesses to the contrary were available.
Ex OPP officer, Paul Smith and Catherine Stewart, both of Walters Falls, Ontario have been known in the past to use Smiths’ ex OPP status and his illegal private investigator license to influence the Landlord and Tenant Board hearings that paralegal, Catherine Stewart, takes on defending Landlords only.Smith was also involved in Privacy Commissioner complaints against Stewart where he gave statements claiming he was a licensed PI working for Smith when he entered and took 100’s of photos of a tenants unit prior to Stewart preparing for a forced eviction hearing.
Paralegal Catherine Stewart is known online, to be the “self proclaimed” terminator and has gone as far as threatening the applicant of the Human Rights application. publicly on her property management website which can be viewed here at, http://www.landlordlegal.ca.
The paralegal / property manager hides behind online applications on her website to screen clients and has signs posted on a door at her little cubicle office located at 117 Bayfield Street stating No Tenants allowed but she is a property manager. Any tenant who goes against Catherine Stewart in LTB, should be aware that Catherine April Stewart is not legally allowed to represent landlords in LTB hearings as both a paralegal and a property manager and should make the Judge at the LTB hearing aware of the conflict of interest she is in when she does not fit the definition of a “Landlord” but references herself as a “Landlord representative” in any court documents and signs them as April Stewart, which is not her legal name !!

Tavroges is well aware of the tactics used by his new employer and even signed the LTB agreement on behalf of this involved tenant client, with C A Stewart which was not honored by Stewart or the Dykstra bros and forced the tenant to file a civil case to retrieve the funds.It took 9 months but the Barrie slum lords did eventually pay the LTB Sean Henry court order they agreed to !!

The tenant is forced to waste their time and money and the Civil Courts time to retrieve Court Orders she had signed on behalf of the landlord client. She does not want you to know this so you will take the deal and move on not knowing it is going to cost you more time and money to retreive ANY order she signs illegally as the property manager when in reality she is a paralegal working for Slum Lord clients.

Claims of illegal evidence being entered into HRTO 17699-14 against Catherine Stewart and her ex cop boyfriend never saw the motions put forth to the Human Rights Tribunal for the claims against them when she claimed “ABSOLUTE PRIVILEGE” and claims it is for the defense of her clients which in this case was herself and Paul Smith of Walters Falls Ontario.
This piece of work paralegal thinks she has more rights than the rest of Ontario because she went to a CTI college for one year and paid about $15,000 to receive a paralegal license honored by the Law Society of Upper Canada and then gives her the right to lie, not show up, manipulate the system and enter false documents and statements from herself and her retired ex OPP boyfriend, process server, delivery boy, home inspector and witness to anything she says or thinks she can manipulate in her favor or her Landlord clients favor.

Between the property management company and signing April Stewart to LTB and other court documents to representing landlords as a paralegal under landlordlegal.inc signing as Catherine Stewart, she has deceived the courts for over 15 years and needs to be investigated along with the false evidence and false testimony given from this Paul Smith acting as a private investigator when not licensed and being protected by his paralegal girlfriend when she says she is his paralegal.
My advice that I like to give the HATE email received concerning the conflict of interest and manipulation is go to school for one year at CTI college, pay the tuition and get your paralegal icense so you to can fuck with our court system, manipulate the police and do and say anything believing it is in pursuit of justice.
The only justice served here is when the law Society revokes this paralegals license and we post their reports here on Privacy Violators website.
This paralegal has represented in civil cases when she stood before Judge Kalwosky and stated it was her first time to the April 2016 Human Rights Hearing where she represented herself, Paul Smith and the Dykstra Bros and stated on that day she did not know the Human Rights process and refused to continue until Toronto lawyer David Strashin showed up 2 1/2 hours late to the pre scheduled hearing delaying it and making the participants wait for his ass to show.

Typical when you are abusive of our court system and the Law Society members like David Cass dismiss legitimate complaints filed against her for the August 15th 2014 break and enter she ordered Paul Robertson of Central Lock and Key to perform while Barrie police officers Cst Beard and Cst Turner stood by and witnessed this and did nothing after telling her she did not have the paperwork or the right to enter…SHE IGNORED THEM ALSO AND PROCEEDED UNTIL THE TENANT ARRIVED HOME..then fled the scene with the Dykstras who were also present for the illegal entry.
This piece of work paralegal is also known to serve the tenant directly when they are represented by legal council which is also against the rules of the LSUC.No contact to clients when legal representation is known.
This property manager is known to send Do Not Trespass letters without any letterhead to intimidate opposing parties.Catherine Stewart is known to directly serve papers,warnings and other threats to the opposing party although they have legal representation, happened a couple of times including Paul Smith serving documents directly for his paralegal girlfriend when he himself is named in the HRTO 17699-14 and the HRTO did nothing about the suppose to be FAIR PROCESS..again BULLSHIT..FUCK YOU
The paralegal openly threatens the Human Rights applicant on her public website for her property management company during HRTO proceedings and they did nothing of the threats, the contact or the false statements or false evidence they submitted for HRTO 17699-14 & HRTO 16250-13.
The paralegal failed to show for the LTB hearing scheduled and Catherine Stewart was named in directly for the break and enter. She sent another paralegal in her place, who is named in another post to lie to the LTB courts saying Stewart was out of town September 2013 when the hearing was held.

Catherine Stewart has been known to break into a tenants unit August 15th 2013, while Barrie police officers, Melanie Beard and T Turner of the Barrie police stood by and did nothing.After the tenant getting upset the Barrie police officers and the cowardly landlords got in their vehicles and left. The tenant did not get the money owed from Catherine Stewart from previous court order, was on ODSP, has a disability and is forced to move because the Dykstra’s revealed personal information that threatened his safety in his own unit rented from them.
The police incident report is shown and states they told her she did not have the paperwork or the right to enter but Stewart used Barrie Central Lock and Key,owned by Paul Robertson to cut the security chain and enter.
Catherine Stewart has been known to do the following improper actions and infractions while working in both capacities as a paralegal and a paralegal.There are new complaints to the Law Society to investigate the conduct unbecoming a paralegal complaints filed by the ex tenant and the Human Rights applicant.
- Operates as a paralegal under the name Landlord Legal inc
- known to sign Catherine April Stewart as that paralegal (is her legal name)
- Operates as a property manager under the name Landlord Legal
- known to sign April Stewart as a property manager – not legal name
- known to sign and submit Human Rights documents as April Stewart – not legal name
- known to use APRIL STEWART for LTB and then shift to paralegal CATHERINE STEWART
- knowingly uses false signature when legal name is CATHERINE APRIL STEWART
- known to sign affidavits for boyfriend Paul Smith testimony for her own clients – has commissioner stamp
- known to use ex OPP boyfriend’s police status to her advantage
- known to use ex OPP Paul Smith private investigator status when he was not legal to work in that capacity
- Paul Smith is known to use PI license & status when he was not legal in that capacity for her business uses
- Catherine Stewart is known to submit legal document that did not exist at the LTB Office – signed from Paul Smith
- Ex OPP officer Paul Smith gives signed document for serving papers for Stewart business instead of filing at LTB
- Paul Smith stated he was a process server for 10 years – should know how to file a document as an ex cop & processor
- Paul Smith knowingly gave a false document for evidence to be used by C A Stewart in Civil,Privacy Commissioner, Human Rights (which is detailed in another upcoming post to be released soon with all the documentation provided)
- Stewart knowingly submitted false documents to Human Rights, Privacy Commissioner and the Human Rights
- Stewart knowingly submitted false testimony to the Privacy Commissioner, Civil trials and the Human Rights (another upcoming disclosure post with many attachments)
- known to not follow Civil Court Rules of procedure against other litigants
- known to not show up for Civil motions filed because of improper actions/document filings
- known to go back chambers with Barrie Civil judge Kowalski during legal proceedings against same tenant
- Known to be a Landlord Rights only advocate who knowingly violates others rights to win.

- Signs as April Stewart when working as a property manager for landlords
- Known to file vexatious civil suit with no chance of recovery to delay Law society complaints
- Known to file useless civil cases to delay Human rights proceedings
- Known to use absolute privilege defence to break the laws and rules to defend landlords
- known to file the vexatious suits and claim matters were dealt with in another forum
- Known to refuse to pay court orders owed, issued or were signed by her
- Known to put un associated witnesses on her list so they cannot be used in courts elsewhere
- Known to use her ex OPP boyfriend Paul Smith to lie on the stand when he’s not on the witness list
- Does not appear in court to answer for the break in Barrie police witnessed
- Does illegal searches and uses her boyfriend, ex OPP boyfriend Paul Smith to do it
- Photographs tenants units but does not use photographs in LTB court.Against the LTB rules and harassment.
- known to not give any disclosure before hearings as per the rules, esp in Barrie LTB
- known to harass ex tenants who file Human Rights claims against her company and her clients.
- known to issue many no trespass notices with no letterhead from Landlord Legal (all will be uploaded for display)
- Has been known to infringe on rules from the Landlord and Tenant Board Act 2006
- Has been known to not give any disclosure or evidence to other tenants or parties at LTB
- Has been known to make false police calls for her benefit (ex: keep the peace while she breaks in)
- Has been known to refuse court summons for her ex OPP boyfriend Paul Smith to appear in court.
- Has another paralegal lie in court, to the LTB Judge when she stated “OUT OF THE COUNTRY”

We bet Canada AM did not investigate Catherine Stewart’s ethics when they interviewed her concerning another unrelated eviction. How do they get candidates ? Did she call them to get interviewed for that eviction ?

The Stewart Solution ~ A Tenants Guide to harassment and what you can do to retaliate
When Catherine Stewart or April Stewart or whatever name she is using now arrives in your life for the first time to start eviction proceedings, you have some options that you can consider to retaliate against her Sharp Practice tactics and her landlord clients.
These are true facts Stewart does not want you to know before she attempts to evict you.
We only list some retaliation possibilities that you can consider doing and leave the decisions and actions up to you. We take no responsibility for any actions that may have been taken per our suggestions listed below. We will be adding more suggestions listed below as members voice their opinions and emails continue to come in. Tenants have rights to !
The goal here is to cost the landlord as much money as possible with damages and legal fees if they try to come after you for any costs involved with the eviction, you are protected by the Landlord & Tenant Act and ODSP Act section 18 and section 51(1) of the ODSP Regulations.
Intent of Policy :To ensure that a recipient’s income support is protected from seizure and garnishment by creditors or transfer to another party to satisfy a debt.
As with Stewart being protected for her illegal methods, you are also protected if you are on ODSP or Public Assistance and can not be garnished for any reason.The landlord will have to come up with the money to fix the place and all legal fees required to attempt to pursue any LTB or Civil Court actions to get the damages recovered, and you simply don’t show up as Civil Courts in Ontario are Mickey Mouse and a Kangaroo court anyways.They will not be able to recover any money even if the court awards damage and cost against you. Their tough luck !
Let the landlord waste their time with the paperwork and the extreme costs involved to try and recover any of the alleged damages to their property. Have no mercy when you are being harassed and feel threatened by this invasion of a paralegal hiding behind her illegal property management company, she will have no mercy on you.
Read the many posts concerning Stewart’s Sharp practice and the intentional privacy violations she has been known to do to tenants she evicts.
When Stewart attempts to photograph your entire unit before your eviction, it is against the LTB Act 2006.Stewart is well known to try and get photos and serial numbers of appliances before she attempts to evict a tenant. Privacy Violators has received several emails complaining that Paul Smith is still entering their unit for Stewart with intentions of photographing every square inch. Make sure your witnesses show and the photos are disclosed in LTB court that she takes.
Landlords can take photos if they pertain to scheduled maintenance and should be noted in the Intent to Enter she will send to you. It is against the LTB Act to photograph a tenants unit or personal belongings in preparation for an eviction. Make sure she produces the photos at the LTB and bring this violation up to the LTB judge.
Remember this : If Stewart is knocking on your door then she is there to evict you for her landlord client. Do not trust anything Catherine Stewart says or signs, it is well known she breaches agreements to make you fight for the funds owed as many tenants have had to do in the past against her.

Read the many posts about not trusting Stewart and
- Take and post photos of Paul Smith when he attempts to photograph your unit against the LTB rules.
- Post the photos of any sent inspector photographing your complete unit on all your social networks.
- Record everything Paul Smith (or any inspector Catherine Stewart sends) does and says in your unit.
- Have witnesses present when she does enter and photograph your entire unit before evicting you.
- Keep detailed notes and all communication received from Catherine Stewart for court purposes.
- Hang sheets over walls or cover personal photos, documents before inspector comes. Its your place and can do what you want. you do not have to remove anything and the inspector is not allowed to remove them or open closets, cupboards, fridges or stoves to get serial numbers. bring this up at LTB if she does this.
- I would paint the sheets with FUCK YOU before I hung them personally but its your call what you do.
- Do not open closet doors for inspector or allow him to do so. Against the LTB Act 2006 for them to do so
- Film and record the inspector’s movements with a camera or your phone while he is in your home.
- Do not open the fridge, stove or any appliance for the inspector. Against the LTB Act 2006 for them to do so.
- The time and date for the inspection has to be noted on the Intent to enter ahe will place on your door.
- Stewart is well known for disclosing private tenant information so protect your photos & documents beforehand
- Stewart is known for ignoring requests to change date, even interrupted a birthday party to photograph a unit.
- Stewart is well known for having her boyfriend, ex OPP Paul Smith sign false statements for landlord clients.
- Stewart is well known for protecting Paul Smith from any summons served to them. Read many past posts.
- Stewart is well known to break into tenants units without proper legal paperwork to do so.
- Stewart is well known to block all contact from any tenants she encounters, so much for property management
When you go to Landlord & Tenant Board hearing
- Ask for disclosure of ALL documents and the Photos taken when you go to the LTB hearing.
- Bring your witnesses into the LTB hearing for the judge to hear testimony of this illegal photographing
- Mention to LTB judge that Stewart signs illegal name of April Stewart on legal court documents
- Mention to the LTB judge Catherine Stewart is legal name and she is a paid paralegal for the landlord
- DEMAND DISCLOSURE !! Stewart is known for not giving disclosure or any evidence for any court hearings.
- Check LTB main office for any documents she claims to have had signed by Paul Smith or any witness used
(Catherine Stewart has been alleged and known to have filed false statements and evidence into hearings)
- Bring to the attention of the LTB judge she does not fit the definition of landlord under the LTB Act 2006.
- Bring to the attention of the duty counsel Stewart is a paralegal and not allowed to represent landlords in LTB.
- Serve a summons to the inspector or the (in our opinion) coward ex OPP boyfriend, Paul Smith who knowingly violates tenants rights for his paralegal girlfriend or wife. (undetermined yet). Best place to serve Paul Smith is 117 Bayfield Street, Barrie or their residence in Walters Falls, Ontario.
File complaints with the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC)
* There are pending complaints filed with the Law Society concerning Stewart’s false statement and false evidence allegations with about 9 other complaints against this pathetic paralegal.
- Report Catherine Stewart to the Law Society of Upper Canada for investigation again.
- Send detailed complaint with all the infractions she is bound to breach and use against you.
- Publish the complaints online so the public can see the neglect going on at the Law Society intake process.
- Send complaints to the local newspaper or local news station to warn the public of this paralegals tactics.
- Send us your info, file numbers and photos to publish here for the public to see on Privacy violators website.
If Stewart manages to evict you from your unit, here are some things you can do to retaliate against her and her landlords for infringing on your tenant’s rights. As long as you are the legal tenant on the agreement, all issues concerning the rental unit would go before the Landlord and Tenant Board again, if you decide to show up for them after the fact.
Any damage done to the rental unit while you are in legal control of the unit would have to be addressed in LTB court or a Civil Court to recover any damages if the landlord goes to the expense of hiring a paralegal or lawyer to pursue costs.
If you are on ODSP or on Public assistance you can not be garnished for any reason and money cannot be taken from your government checks. This is something Stewart does not want you to know before an eviction.
FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE – ILLEGAL EVICTIONS ARE WRONG !!
The final goodbye to your landlord and Catherine Stewart after she finally evicts you. Do any of these suggestions at your own risk before the last day of your lease or the agreed move out date if any are set at LTB court.
Barrie police informs us that this will continue to be a Landlord and tenant matter until the lease or agreement is up and you move out.make sure to cost the landlord a lot of money for attacking your tenant privacy and evicting you using the illegal methods of Catherine Stewart and Paul Smith. Do not be nice and make your message heard loudly to retaliate against her sharp practice.
- Remove all the doors and throw them in the city dump so landlord has to spend money to replace them.
- Remove cupboard doors and dispose or cut them up so have to be replaced.
- Remove locks and dispose of them so landlords have to spend money to replace them for next tenant.
- Cut doors, break windows and split shelves in half so they have to be replaced.
- Remove windows and throw out in the city dump.
- Mess with electrical wiring and fuse box (costly for landlords to fix).
- Put cement down the kitchen, bathroom sinks (landlord would have to replace).
- Break any floor or wall tiles so the landlord has to repair to make place decent again.
- Holes in the wall would need to be repaired before the landlord could rent the unit again.
- Put cement in the toilets or pack with towels to block them up so plumber has to be called in to fix.
- Put rotten food in the air ducts to be discovered by next tenant (would need to spend money cleaning vents).
- Cut cord on fridge, stove and any appliances left (unplug first).
- Sell the fridge, stove and any appliance the landlord owns (landlord would have to replace for next tenant).
- Sell the washer and dryer if the unit came with one, or make unusable before you leave
- Make a hole in the hot water heater so water drains out and burns out the heating element
- Make the furnace in-operable, this can be a costly repair for the landlord
- Damage stairs or railings so they have to be replaced by the landlord.
- Pour paint and shit on the carpets and floors for the landlord to clean up after you leave.
- Leave tons of garbage in the unit for them to clean up.
- Plug the sinks and turn the water on to over fill sinks and bathtubs ruining the floors.
- Remove and dispose of all of breakers in the electrical panel (landlord would have to replace them).
